Eric Hallman - Bank Card Sales & Support, Bankers’ Bank of the West
Eric Hallman landed first in financial services in 1982 after graduating from the University of Kansas. Over his 40-plus-year career, he has a decade of experience as a lender, more than 20 years in electronic funds transfer sales and sales management, and 10 with banking associations on both the state and national levels.
He has worked for Bankers’ Bank of the West since 2022, primarily helping community banks maximize their ATM/debit programs. In his current position, Eric supports banks by analyzing industry trends, analyzing their marketplace, and reviewing their internal processes to achieve greater efficiencies and profitability.
Kate Holloway - VP, Bank Card Projects (AZ), Bankers’ Bank of the West
Having worked as a teller for community banks during and after college, Kate Holloway has spent more than three decades in various segments of the financial services industry. Her extensive experience includes accounting and vendor management, credit card processing, funding and partner revenue distribution, and technical support of credit card processing hardware, to name just a few.
Kate, an Electronic Transactions Association Certified Payments Professional (ETA-CPP), has been part of the Bankers’ Bank of the West Bank Card team since 2013. Her current responsibilities at BBW include product sourcing, development and implementation, project management, strategic planning, and cultivating the merchant bank training team and program.
Ian Zarac - Vice President, Financial Institutions, CXI
Mr. Ian Zarac has more than fifteen years of experience in the foreign exchange industry at CXI. Working at CXI during its exponential growth, he has extensive knowledge and field experience working primarily with financial institutions.
Utilizing industry best practices, Ian guides clients navigating the foreign exchange industry. His experience creating mutually beneficial relationships includes implementation, marketing and ongoing account management, while introducing new software developments and Integrations.
Mr. Zarac graduated from Stetson University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management and received a Master’s in Teaching from Rollins College. Ian is a member of the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT).

Sharvelle Washington - AVP- Compliance & Risk, Bankers’ Bank of the West
After working for Fortune 500 companies since 2008, Sharvelle Washington accepted a position as a compliance analyst with Bankers’ Bank of the West in 2020. Currently, as AVP–Compliance and Risk for the bank, Sharvelle focuses on compliance, BSA, and vendor management; her secondary duties include audit and risk.
Sharvelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and project management. In addition, she has attained the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) certification. She is a designated BSA Officer and assistant audit manager for Bankers’ Bank of the West as well.

Connie LaChance - AAP, NCP, APRP | VP, Education and Events, Wespay
Connie is responsible for the development and delivery of education and training, ensuring the information we provide to our members is consistent and current. She also supports academic content for various Wespay events and provides educational training for multiple partners. Additionally, she assists Wespay Advisors with ACH Audit Services and consulting engagements.
Before joining Wespay, Connie spent eighteen years working at one of the largest credit unions in Colorado. She began as an Accounting Supervisor and transitioned to the role of ACH Manager early in her career. She also participated in the Federal Reserve’s Retail Payments Advisory Group.
Connie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), and National Check Professional (NCP). In her free time, she likes to volunteer at the Catholic Charities Marion House Kitchen which provides daily hot meals for those in need.
Erik Van Bramer - Sr. Vice President, Head of National Sales/Customer Relations for Federal Reserve Financial Services
As head of National Sales/Customer Relations, Erik Van Bramer is responsible for setting and implementing the strategy for managing the relationships and financial services offerings for financial institutions across the Federal Reserve System..
Van Bramer joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1998 and transitioned to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2005. His tenure with the Federal Reserve has encompassed multiple management areas including operations, internal support functions, as well as business development. Van Bramer was promoted to assistant vice president and national account executive in 2010. He was named vice president in 2014, leading the group managing relationships for large and complex financial institutions.
Van Bramer holds a bachelor’s degree from The Colorado College, completed graduate studies at The Lake Forest Graduate School of Business, The Booth School of Business, and earned certification from the Graduate School of Banking at The University of Colorado. He serves on several boards throughout the Denver metro area with a particular interest in injury prevention and underserved children and communities.
Roiana Reid - Vice President, Lead Economist, U.S. (from the Mastercard Economics Institute)
As an economist at the Mastercard Economics Institute, Roiana’s responsibilities include the development and delivery of differentiated economic, financial, policy and market thought leadership for customers and colleagues at Mastercard.
Roiana joined Mastercard in 2022 and covers the U.S. economy. Prior to joining Mastercard, Roiana was at KKR, where she performed macroeconomic analyses for the Real Estate and Private Equity Consumer Investment teams. Roiana also worked at Berenberg Capital Markets and Nomura Securities where she analyzed the U.S. economy.
Roiana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Vassar College, and a Master of Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley and is a member of the National Association of Business Economics.

My passion is Information Security, Risk Management, user education, and making things better. I've secured hardware, software, and humans. I'm fluent in security, compliance, "C-Suite", and "Board of Directors". The good kind of hacker.
I have been in the security field for 10 years, and have been in love with technology and hacking for about 20.
One of my earliest attempts at programming I crashed my computer in a Visual Basic loop. I have written security articles published in regional banking publications, presented at banking conferences in two states, and can talk for hours about security.
As a lover of Linux and advocate for open source software solutions, I can teach you how to build a home lab on the cheap.”
